Beginning Saturdays, October 3, 2015, join 12 Utah Teen Chefs as they compete over the course of 13 weeks for a four-year scholarship to Johnson & Wales University. Mentored by 3 of Utah’s hottest Chefs: Viet Pham (Ember & Ash), Briar Handly (Handle), Logen Crew (Current Fish & Oyster), the teen chefs learn skills and techniques each week and have only two burners and 60 minutes to create a dish for the Mentor Chefs who blindly taste the dishes as the Mentor Judges and choose the winning dish.
The team that has the winning dish must choose two teens to duel against one another in a culinary cook-off. The two teens have 15 minutes to prepare an amuse bouche to see who will go home and who will stay to cook another day.
The two Mentor Chef’s whose teen does not lose in the duel may SAVE the teen going home by choosing a teen from their team to go home instead to craft their perfect team.
